The Australian Government has passed the legislation to classify videogames under the more appropriate R18+ rating for many of the games the country will usually refuse to classify.
This after years of setbacks and controversy over many of the games oddly given M15+ ratings when a Over-18 rating wouldve been more appropriate. With the passing of the legislation, the new R18+ rating will become law and will take effect on January 1st, 2013.
